Role Summary
Onsite contract role in San Jose, CA to design digital ASIC subsystems for high-performance semiconductor test and instrumentation platforms. Work covers architecture, RTL design, integration, optimization, and collaboration through verification and silicon bring-up across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog) for digital ASIC blocks and interface IP.
- Implement logic, perform synthesis and timing closure, and optimize designs for performance.
- Integrate high-speed interfaces (PCIe, UFS) and memory controllers (LPDDR5/LPDDR6).
- Collaborate with verification, validation, system engineering, and silicon bring-up teams.
- Analyze and debug complex digital hardware and subsystem issues.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for SoC/ASIC interfaces and memory subsystems.
Requirements
Must-have skills and constraints:
- Proven experience in digital ASIC and RTL design using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
- Experience with PCIe interface design and implementation.
- Experience with UFS architectures and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with LPDDR5 and/or LPDDR6 memory interfaces.
- Experience with timing analysis, synthesis flows, and high-speed digital design.
- Ability to analyze and debug complex digital hardware issues and work cross-functionally.
- Authorization requirement: Green Card holder or U.S. citizen only.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with semiconductor test, instrumentation, or ATE platforms.
- FPGA prototyping and emulation experience.
- Low-power design techniques, DFT/scan, and silicon validation methodologies.
- Experience with high-performance SoCs, interface IP development, or advanced process nodes.
