Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on customer success, technical ownership, and knowledge leadership across physical implementation activities.
- Lead and execute strategic customer engagements for complex physical design challenges.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and own critical escalations to resolution.
- Define and drive implementation strategies to achieve optimal PPA and design convergence.
- Collaborate with R&D to influence tools, methodologies, and product improvements.
- Run benchmarking, methodology campaigns, and promote best practices across customer programs.
- Mentor and guide application engineering team members and contribute to organizational capability building.
Requirements

Must-have:- 5+ years in ASIC physical design, design implementation, or application engineering.
- Deep expertise across physical design flows: floorplanning, placement, optimization, CTS, routing, timing closure, signoff, and convergence.
- Hands-on experience with Fusion Compiler, ICC2, and implementation methodologies at advanced nodes.
- Strong understanding of STA, extraction, physical verification, and signoff processes.
- Proven track record supporting complex customer engagements and resolving cross-functional issues.
- Scripting skills in Tcl, Perl, Python, or Shell for automation and methodology development.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring experience.
- Experience with PrimeTime, StarRC, IC Validator, DSO.ai, or other AI-driven implementation technologies.
- Background driving methodology innovations, benchmarking campaigns, or tool adoption programs.
