Application Engineer Consultant - Calibre DS

Role Summary

Provide technical support and deployment assistance for Siemens EDA's Calibre physical verification software to customers, both remotely and onsite.

Work with product, sales, and support teams to resolve customer issues, deliver training, and create technical content to improve customer success.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focused on customer-facing technical support, deployment, and knowledge transfer.

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, electronic channels, and at customer sites.
  • Assist customers in deploying and integrating Calibre software to address design problems.
  • Support design and verification workflows involving PDK, DRM, and post-tape-out (mask) processes using Calibre.
  • Track and update customer issues using Siemens EDA processes and tracking tools.
  • Develop and deliver technical training and product update sessions.
  • Create and maintain technical content for the knowledge base.
  • Communicate customer technical requirements and issues to product and sales teams.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science required; M.S. preferred.
