Role Summary
Entry-level engineering role supporting automotive customers in development and integration of NXP automotive microcontroller (MCU) solutions. The role involves customer-facing support, embedded software and platform development, and collaboration with sales, marketing, and global engineering teams.
Experience Level
Entry-level (new graduate, 2027 campus hire).
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include technical support for customers, development of evaluation platforms, and collaboration with internal teams to accelerate product adoption.
- Collaborate with automotive customers, field application engineers, marketing, and sales to gather system requirements and support application development.
- Develop embedded software, evaluation platforms, reference designs, application notes, and technical collateral for automotive applications.
- Assist customers with debugging, integration, and technical issue analysis for MCU hardware, software, and automotive systems.
- Support technical workshops, customer trainings, and internal knowledge-sharing activities.
- Evaluate emerging automotive technologies and trends such as automotive safety, security, zonal architecture, and vehicle networking.
- Coordinate with global engineering teams to help customers adopt NXP solutions and accelerate their development.
- Build technical expertise in automotive microcontrollers, embedded systems, and software platforms through project work and continuous learning.

Nice-to-have:
- Experience or coursework with microcontrollers, SoC architecture, on-chip peripherals, embedded C/C++, RTOS, device drivers, multi-core systems, or automotive networking (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR, ISO 26262 (functional safety), automotive cybersecurity, hardware debugging, lab instrumentation, Git, debugging tools, and scripting (Python preferred).
- Experience with AI applications in embedded or automotive systems, technical presentations, research projects, or open-source contributions.
Education Requirements
2027 graduate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Automotive Engineering, Software Engineering, or related disciplines (or equivalent practical experience).
