Role Summary

Serve as the primary technical interface for assigned customers in Tokyo, supporting evaluation, deployment, and adoption of the Solido custom IC design and verification platform. Work closely with sales, R&D, and customers to deliver technical outcomes that enable customer success.

Responsibilities

Primary customer-facing technical responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration.

• Act as primary technical interface and trusted advisor for assigned customers.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support territory objectives.
• Perform technical assessments and customer qualification to identify requirements.
• Plan and execute customer-specific technical engagements and product evaluations.
• Provide training, integration assistance, and support to ensure tool adoption.
• Deliver technical field reports, documentation, and feedback to R&D and marketing.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive technical support.

Requirements

Key must-have skills and preferred qualifications.

• Must-have: Experience in applications engineering, technical support, or other customer-facing technical roles within EDA or semiconductor design environments.
• Must-have: Strong technical knowledge of circuit simulation and analog design fundamentals.
• Must-have: Experience with one or more areas such as transceiver design, RFIC, high-speed I/O, or signal conditioning.
• Must-have: Understanding of design variation and tolerance analysis methodologies.
• Must-have: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interface at all organizational levels and work with cross-functional teams.
• Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with custom IC design and verification platforms.
• Nice-to-have: Fundamental IP development experience and familiarity with design automation tools and methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design practices.
