Analog Test Engineer

Role Summary

As an Analog Test Engineer on the manufacturing/test team in Chengdu, you will develop and validate production test methods, support product ramp and yield improvement, and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet product-line objectives.

The role focuses on test program development, troubleshooting, and collaboration with manufacturing, packaging, quality, supply chain and customer-facing teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” new graduate. Target candidates graduating 2024–2026 with less than 24 months of work experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement production test programs for new analog products.
  • Drive engineering activities to reduce cost, expand capacity, and improve yield.
  • Investigate and resolve customer quality and application issues in coordination with manufacturing and R&D.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional and cross-region team collaboration to solve production and quality problems.
  • Maintain relationships with wafer fabs and packaging/test suppliers to ensure efficient communication and issue resolution.
  • Support product-line operations including supply chain, manufacturing, quality, documentation, and technical publications as required.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes:

  • Strong understanding of electronics, circuit design, and layout.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Visual Basic programming.
  • Practical experience using lab equipment: voltage/current sources, multimeters, parametrization tools, and oscilloscopes.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor device physics and systematic data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-team communication skills; proficient English (written and oral).
  • Organized, proactive, and able to prioritize and manage assigned projects.
  • Creative problem solver with flexibility and initiative.

Nice-to-have:

  • Prior hands-on test or manufacturing internship experience.
  • Experience with automated test equipment or test program development frameworks.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics or a related technical field. The posting prefers 2024–2026 graduates and candidates with less than 24 months of work experience; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
