2027 Intern - Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Internship on the analog/mixed-signal IP team contributing to ARM-based MCU/MPU product development. Work covers schematic design, simulation, layout, IP view generation and documentation, and IP integration with SoC/backend teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship (suitable for current students or recent graduates).

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

• Design and develop analog/mixed-signal IP for ARM-based MCU/MPU products.
• Create schematics, run analog and mixed-signal simulations, and support layout tasks.
• Generate IP views and technical documentation for IP delivery.
• Collaborate with SoC and backend teams to integrate IP into larger designs.

Requirements

Required technical skills and experience:

• Basic knowledge of analog/mixed-signal IP design, verification, and validation flows.
• Familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, HSPICE/Spectre, Calibre, MATLAB, and QRC.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in global teams.
• Nice to have: experience with LDO/DCDC, data converters, clocking circuits, or op-amp design.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in micro-electronics, electronic engineering, or a related discipline (as stated). No alternative equivalent-experience language or certifications were specified.
