Job Title
Analog RF & Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer / Architect
Role Summary
Define and execute design verification strategies to validate foundry processes, PDKs, tools, and methodologies using Analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal IP as validation vehicles. Plan and build integration test frameworks, run qualitative and quantitative analyses, and collaborate with AMS flow teams, PDK/IP teams and EDA vendors to enable deployment across advanced nodes (28nmβ5nm).
Experience Level
Senior level β requires approximately 8+ years of experience in the Semiconductor or EDA domain.
Responsibilities
Lead verification architecture and test integration for analog/RF/mixed-signal flows; ensure compatibility and stability across PDKs, tools, and IP versions.
- Design and implement integration test frameworks for SoC and IP validation.
- Validate foundry processes, PDKs, technology files and tool integrations using AMS/RF IP as validation vehicles.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative impact analysis across IP, tool and methodology versions.
- Drive co-simulation efforts across analog, digital and RF domains.
- Collaborate with EDA vendors and internal teams to enable new features and flows.
- Support verification and deployment across advanced technology nodes (28nm to 5nm).
- Use automation and AI-driven approaches to improve test coverage, quality, and productivity.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; separate nice-to-have items follow.
-
Must-have: Strong expertise in analog, RF and mixed-signal verification methodologies and EDA tools.
-
Must-have: Familiarity with foundry PDKs, process components and technology/configuration files.
-
Must-have: Experience with Spectre, HSPICE and Cadence AMS Designer.
-
Must-have: Proficiency with RF/EM tools such as Keysight ADS, HFSS, EMX or Clarity.
-
Must-have: Strong understanding of co-simulation (analog + digital + RF) and experience in functional, structural and integration-level verification.
-
Must-have: Scripting skills (SKILL, TCL, Python or similar).
-
Must-have: 8+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor or EDA domains.
-
Must-have: Technical leadership, clear communication, problem-solving and ownership of deliverables.
-
Nice-to-have: Fundamentals in analog and RF circuit blocks (amplifiers, PLLs, ADC/DACs, mixers, oscillators, filters, RF front-end).
-
Nice-to-have: Knowledge of reliability and aging analyses (BTI, HCI, EM) and post-layout/parasitic/PVT effects.
-
Nice-to-have: Experience building top-level verification environments for IP/subsystems.
Education Requirements
B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, or a related engineering field as stated in the posting.
