Responsibilities

The role focuses on circuit design, reviews, verification, and lab characterization.

• Specify, architect and design Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal IC blocks from definition through qualification.
• Prepare documentation and participate in concept, schematic/layout and final design reviews.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to meet specifications and schedules.
• Develop and execute test plans for lab characterization of post-fab circuits and chips.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and constraints; items marked as "nice-to-have" are preferable but not mandatory.

• Must-have: Practical experience in analog/RF IC design and use of Cadence Virtuoso.
• Must-have: Solid theoretical understanding of power-management, control, and/or communication system architectures and circuit implementations.
• Must-have: Knowledge of digital design techniques and tools (DSP concepts, MATLAB, Verilog or VHDL).
• Must-have: Scripting/programming experience (e.g. Python, C).
• Must-have: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must-have: Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor visas for this position.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with ADS, HFSS, or similar RF tools.

Education Requirements
