Responsibilities
Hands-on circuit design, verification, and integration for high-speed analog and mixed-signal IP.
- Own architecture, design, and development of analog/mixed-signal hard macros for PLL IP.
- Design bias circuits, references, op-amps, LDOs, VCOs/DCOs, dividers, and clock distribution blocks.
- Perform transistor-level custom design in FinFET CMOS processes and deliver hard macros for integration.
- Set up, run, and analyze SPICE circuit simulations and produce behavioral models.
- Collaborate with layout, digital, physical design, and bench/ATE teams; support integration and testing.
- Participate in requirements discussions to create clear design specifications.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Minimum 6 years transistor-level analog/mixed-signal design experience (PLL, ADC/DAC, or other high-speed applications).
- Proficient with SPICE simulators, ADEXL, and Cadence Virtuoso.
- Experience with custom analog layout, parasitic optimization, post-layout extraction, and verification closure.
- Scripting experience to automate circuit design and verification workflows.
- Strong collaboration and technical communication skills with global cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with PLL/DLL clocking architectures and high-speed wireline signal integrity.
- Experience on advanced CMOS/FinFET nodes and SoC integration.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years relevant hardware engineering experience; or a Master's in a related field with 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
