Role Summary
Manage custom analog/mixed-signal semiconductor ICs used in Cisco's coherent and client optical products. The role owns technical lifecycle management and foundry-level engagement to ensure component performance, reliability, and supply continuity.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical management of semiconductor components and coordination with internal and external partners.
- Drive technical lifecycle management for custom analog/mixed-signal ICs.
- Engage and influence foundry partners to ensure process alignment and quality compliance.
- Validate component performance and quality for high-performance optical products.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities between design, supply chain, and quality teams.
- Manage Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and End-of-Life (EOL) events to mitigate supply disruptions.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred technical qualifications.
- Must-have: 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, component engineering, or hardware engineering.
- Must-have: Strong understanding of semiconductor foundry technologies and experience engaging with foundry partners.
- Must-have: Working knowledge of analog/mixed-signal ICs used in high-speed optical transceivers.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with analog/mixed-signal CMOS nodes (examples: 65 nm, 45 nm, 28 nm, 22FD-SOI).
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with JEDEC reliability standards and industry best practices.
- Nice-to-have: Proficiency in data analysis; familiarity with ML/AI methods is beneficial.
- Nice-to-have: Ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable cross-functional plans.
Education Requirements
