Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and validate analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits at the transistor and block level for automotive and industrial products. Work with test, product, applications, and layout teams to take designs from concept through production release.
Experience Level
Mid-level (5+ years of relevant industry experience)
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include circuit design, simulation, modeling, and laboratory validation.
- Transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
- Architect solutions and analyze trade-offs between approaches.
- System- and block-level circuit simulation and modeling.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot complex integrated-circuit problems in the laboratory.
- Interface with test, product, and applications engineering to transition designs to production.
- Oversee and support physical layout activities.
- Collaborate with product definers and support production datasheets.
Requirements
Key required skills and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in analog design, preferably in Automotive and/or Industrial sectors.
- Experience with DC/DC power conversion topologies.
- Strong understanding of device physics.
- Familiarity with mixed-signal design, simulation, and modelling tools and methodologies.
- Practical experience evaluating and troubleshooting ICs in a lab; knowledge of general lab equipment.
- Experience supporting layout and collaborating across engineering teams.
- Motivated, results-oriented problem solver and team player.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is specified. The posting also requires 5+ years of industry experience in Automotive and/or Industrial analog design. No other degrees, certifications, or equivalent-experience language were specified.
