Job Title
Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and validate analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, with emphasis on transistor-level and power-conversion circuits. Work cross-functionally with test, product, applications, and layout teams to move designs from concept to production.
Experience Level
Mid-level β typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience (Automotive and/or Industrial).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include design, simulation, verification, and support activities across circuit and system levels.
- Transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
- Architect, implement, and analyze trade-offs between design solutions.
- System- and block-level circuit simulation and modeling.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot complex integrated-circuit issues in the laboratory.
- Interface with test, product, and applications engineering to progress products to production release.
- Oversee and support physical layout activities.
- Collaborate with product definers and support production datasheets.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in Automotive and/or Industrial domains.
- Strong background in analog circuit design.
- Experience with various DC/DC power conversion topologies.
- Strong understanding of device physics.
- Familiarity with mixed-signal design, simulation, and modeling.
- Experience troubleshooting in the lab and using general lab equipment.
- Motivated, result-oriented problem solver and team player.
