Analog Layout Intern
Role Summary
Work on the physical design of high-speed analog-mixed signal layouts and perform DRC and LVS verification as part of Marvell Singapore's Layout Team.
Gain hands-on experience with EDA tools and physical-layout techniques while supporting tapeout-quality layout deliverables.
Experience Level
Entry-level - Internship. Intended for undergraduate students; no prior years of professional experience required.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include physical layout and verification for analog-mixed signal designs and collaborating with design and verification teams.
- Create and optimize high-speed analog-mixed signal physical layouts to meet performance, area, and manufacturability targets.
- Perform Design Rule Checking (DRC) and Layout Versus Schematic (LVS) verification and address violations.
- Use EDA tools and scripts to support layout implementation and verification flows.
- Document layout changes and participate in design reviews and handoff processes.
- Collaborate with circuit designers and verification engineers to resolve layout-related issues.

- Solid understanding of semiconductor technology and circuit design principles.
- Familiarity with EDA workflows and basic scripting is beneficial.
- Proficient in written and verbal English; effective team communication skills.

- Must be eligible for access to export-controlled technology; export license review may be required for non-U.S. citizens.
Education Requirements
Pursuing an undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
