Analog IC Design Manager

Role Summary

Lead the Wide VIN buck regulator design team responsible for high-performance DC-DC buck converters (input >60V) for industrial and automotive applications. Manage a team of about 15 engineers, set technical direction, and ensure delivery from concept through production while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Senior β€” minimum 12 years of experience in analog/power management IC design and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Accountable for technical execution, product quality, and team development across multiple Wide VIN buck projects.

  • Lead design execution for multiple Wide VIN buck regulator projects from concept to production.
  • Provide deep technical leadership on switching regulators and buck converter architectures.
  • Mentor and develop engineers through hands-on guidance, design reviews, and architectural direction.
  • Collaborate with systems, verification, layout, validation, and product engineering to define specifications and solutions.
  • Drive innovation, execution excellence, and first-pass silicon success.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs aligned with business and product goals.
  • Build and maintain a product-first, customer-focused engineering culture.

Requirements

Essential technical skills and leadership capabilities required for this role.

  • Extensive experience in analog/power management IC design with deep expertise in switching regulators and buck converters.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing design teams and delivering complex IC products to market.
  • Strong execution mindset and ability to manage multiple parallel projects.
  • Experience working across systems, architecture, verification, layout, validation, and product teams.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Nice-to-have: experience in industrial and/or automotive power products.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
