Job Title

Analog IC Design Engineer - Sensing (PS)

Role Summary

Lead an analog IC design team focused on sensing products, owning product definition through release and transfer to manufacturing. Work cross-functionally with systems, layout, validation, test, and customer-facing teams to deliver analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits for consumer and mobile applications.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires more than 7 years of analog IC design experience.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage an analog IC design team with product ownership from definition to production release.
  • Direct and participate in transistor-level design, simulation, and optimization of analog/mixed-signal circuits.
  • Assign tasks, provide technical guidance, develop schedules, and monitor project progress.
  • Evaluate intermediate and final design results and lead silicon evaluation and debug.
  • Coordinate with physical designers to monitor IC layout progress and ensure design intent is preserved.
  • Collaborate with design verification, systems, application engineering, validation, product engineering, and test teams.
  • Prepare product documentation (product briefs, datasheets, application notes) and contribute to roadmap and concept development.
  • Interface with customers and field teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical support.
  • Participate in hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluation to grow the organization.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • More than 7 years of analog IC design experience.
  • Experience leading a full chip project or serving as an analog design lead.
  • Strong understanding of signal processing and analog design principles, including low-noise, low-distortion, and low-power circuits.
  • Experience with silicon debug and evaluation.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate with customers and field teams.

Nice-to-have / Preferred:

  • Deep expertise in analog/mixed-signal transistor-level design, simulation, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of CMOS device physics, process technology, and design for test.
  • Experience designing for functional safety applications.
  • Proven technical leadership and track record of driving projects to completion.
