Analog IC Design Engineer (NCG)

Role Summary

The Analog IC Design Engineer will define, design, model and verify integrated analog circuits as part of a product development team. The role collaborates with system engineering, layout, test and product engineering to deliver production-ready analog ICs.

Work is focused on architecture trade-offs, design documentation, prototype characterization and driving behavioral models to meet product specifications.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary technical responsibilities and cross-functional activities include:

  • Partner with business teams and system engineering to develop and agree on design specifications.
  • Perform high-level architecture trade-off analysis to ensure specification compliance and competitive performance/cost.
  • Define, design, model and verify analog integrated circuits; develop behavioral models.
  • Participate in design reviews and produce required design and product documentation.
  • Supervise IC layout efforts to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Characterize prototypes, develop test specifications, and coordinate with test/product engineering to drive product releases.
