Analog IC Design Engineer
Role Summary
Lead an analog IC design team responsible for product definition, circuit design, silicon evaluation, and transfer to manufacturing for consumer, mobile computing, and communications products. The role requires technical ownership of power-management ICs and coordination across layout, verification, test, validation, systems, and sales engineering.

Senior β 7+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, product ownership, design oversight, and cross-functional coordination.
- Own product development from definition through silicon and production release.
- Lead and mentor an analog IC design team; assign tasks and monitor progress.
- Design and evaluate analog and power-management circuits; participate in silicon evaluation.
- Collaborate with physical designers and oversee IC layout progress.
- Work with design verification and validation teams to complete technical tasks before production transfer.
- Prepare product briefs, datasheets, and application notes with systems and application engineers.
- Coordinate with test, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful production transfer.
- Engage with customers and sales teams to support customer designs and requirements.
- Participate in hiring and developing personnel to meet organizational goals.

Must-have:
- Strong fundamentals in power electronics and DC-DC converter design.
- Experience with layout considerations for high-current monolithic LDMOS power devices.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on schedule.
- Experience with silicon evaluation and bringing designs through production transfer.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience engaging directly with customers and sales engineering to support designs.
- Prior experience preparing technical product documentation (datasheets, application notes).
Education Requirements
Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.
