Role Summary

This internship supports analog and digital integrated circuit design and verification activities. The intern will work with engineering teams on simulations, lab validation, and documentation to help advance ongoing IC design projects.

This is a hands-on, entry-level role intended for students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in semiconductor design engineering.

Entry-level / Internship — intended for current students or recent graduates. Prior internship or coursework experience in circuit design or digital design tools is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

The intern will assist engineers across design, verification, and test tasks. Typical responsibilities include:

• Support analog and digital circuit design tasks, including schematic entry and simulation.
• Run behavioral and transistor-level simulations and analyze results.
• Help set up and execute lab measurements, prototype bring-up, and data collection.
• Create and maintain design documentation and test reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (layout, verification, test) to resolve issues.

• Must-have: Basic knowledge of analog or digital circuit principles; familiarity with simulation tools or HDL (e.g., SPICE, Verilog) from coursework or projects.
• Must-have: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to follow lab procedures, and effective communication within engineering teams.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Cadence or other EDA tools, MATLAB/Python for data analysis, hands-on lab or board-level debugging experience.
• Nice-to-have: Prior internship or project experience in IC design, verification, or test.
