Role Summary

Manage the AMS SerDes layout organization responsible for analog/mixed-signal layout execution. Lead layout engineering teams, coordinate with circuit and physical design groups, and deliver on schedule and quality targets.

Senior — requires 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the layout organization and own delivery of AMS layout projects.

• Lead and develop layout engineers and first-line managers; manage performance and career growth.
• Own layout execution for AMS/SerDes designs and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with circuit designers, physical design engineers, and program managers on priorities and schedules.
• Drive continuous productivity and quality improvements in layout flow and processes.
• Manage headcount planning and performance reviews for direct and indirect reports.
• Represent the layout team in cross-functional technical and program reviews.
• Communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills.

• 10+ years of experience in layout, circuit design, physical design, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience managing individual contributors and team leads/managers.
• Experience managing program execution and meeting delivery milestones.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across engineering and leadership.
• Experience with AMS/SerDes layout and related analog/mixed-signal processes (role-specific expectation).
