Analog Design Intern (Master's Degree)
Role Summary
Join Marvell's Central Engineering analog team as an intern to support design and verification of analog and mixed-signal IP used across networking, storage, and other product lines. The role focuses on circuit-level design, simulation, and cross-functional integration toward tape-out.
Experience Level
Entry-level intern role intended for current Master's students in a relevant engineering discipline.
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities for this internship include:
- Interpret circuit specifications and system-level requirements.
- Assist in design and implementation of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits (PLLs, DLLs, ADCs, voltage regulators, amplifiers, TX/RX, CDRs).
- Perform detailed circuit-level simulations and design verification using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Collaborate with digital design, layout, and validation teams to ensure integration and successful tape-out.
- Participate in design reviews and maintain design documentation; contribute to improving methodologies and flows.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes:
- Solid understanding of analog circuit fundamentals and semiconductor device physics.
- Hands-on experience with IC design and simulation tools such as Spectre/SPICE, MATLAB, and Python.
- Familiarity with analog/Mixed-Signal building blocks (PLLs, ADCs, DLLs, regulators, amplifiers, TX/RX, CDR) is expected.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-disciplinary team.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, curious, and eager to learn.

Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, IC Design, or a closely related field (Master's level student required as part of the internship qualification).
