Analog Design Engineering Intern
Role Summary
Internship on an analog IC design team working on definition, design, modeling, implementation and documentation of analog, digital and RF integrated circuits. The role supports product development activities across domains such as power, audio, imaging, interface, clocking and automotive.

Entry-level (internship). Intended for current undergraduate or graduate students; no professional years-of-experience requirement specified.
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include supporting chip design activities, participating in reviews, and coordinating characterization and test efforts.
- Define, design, model and document analog, digital and RF IC blocks.
- Partner with business and system engineering to develop and refine design specifications.
- Perform high-level analysis of chip architecture trade-offs to meet specifications and cost targets.
- Participate in design reviews and produce required design and product documentation.
- Support IC layout oversight to meet performance targets.
- Characterize prototypes, develop test specifications and coordinate with test/product engineering for product releases.
- Develop and drive behavioral models and testbenches.

- Nice-to-have: experience with Cadence analog design environment.

Education Requirements
