Job Title
Analog Design Engineer — Precision Analog (New Grad)
Role Summary
Join the core R&D team to design and develop precision integrated circuits. As a campus hire you will work across the full product lifecycle: circuit design, verification, silicon validation, and test under senior-engineer mentorship.
Experience Level
Entry-level (New graduate). This posting targets fresh Ph.D. graduates.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Contribute to product specification and select appropriate process nodes.
- Perform transistor- to system-level circuit design for precision analog ICs.
- Run circuit simulation and verification; develop test methodologies.
- Supervise and verify physical layout implementation for electrical compliance.
- Lead post-silicon debugging, characterization, and evaluation after tape-out.
- Support test-program development and product release activities with test and product engineers.
- Propose and evaluate novel circuit ideas; assist in documentation (application notes, data sheets) and demo boards.
- Collaborate with packaging, CAD, and process teams to optimize power density, efficiency, and reliability.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and competencies:
- Strong fundamentals in analog/digital circuits, semiconductor physics, and IC design flows.
- Familiarity with precision analog building blocks (op-amps, ADCs/DACs, references) and error-budget analysis (offset, noise, drift).
- Experience with circuit-level simulation and logic verification; ability to develop test methodologies.
- Ability to perform silicon debugging and characterization under senior guidance.
- Effective teamwork and clear technical communication skills.
- Time-management skills to organize assignments and meet deadlines under supervision.
- Familiarity with mainstream EDA tools for circuit design and simulation.
Nice-to-have: layout review experience, exposure to packaging/process interactions, or prior IC design internship.
Education Requirements
Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or Microelectronics. Fresh graduates only.
