Analog Design Engineer Intern (m/f/d)

Role Summary

As an intern in analog IC design, you will help define, design, model, implement and document analog, digital, and RF integrated circuits. Work areas may include audio, imaging, high-speed interfaces, clocking, medical, automotive, storage, power management and related analog domains.

This role supports product design through specification development, architecture analysis, prototype characterization and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship. Intended for current undergraduate or graduate students; no specific years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with business and system engineering teams to develop design specifications.
• Perform high-level analysis of chip architecture trade-offs to meet specifications and cost targets.
• Participate in design reviews and produce design and product documentation.
• Support and review IC layout for performance targets.
• Characterize prototypes, develop test specifications, and coordinate with test/product engineering for releases.
• Develop and validate behavioral models.

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical & Computer Engineering. Job information indicates a Master's-degree level role. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 required. No equivalent-experience or certification language was specified.
