Role Summary
Design and verify analog/mixed-signal transistor-level circuits for ultra-high-speed optical engine products. Work in a cross-functional engineering team from block specification through silicon characterization and production.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early career β 1+ years of industry experience in analog/mixed-signal design.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design and verify ultra-high-speed AMS circuits for next-generation optical engines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and review block-level specifications.
- Perform transistor-level simulations, design optimization, and device-level modeling.
- Evaluate, measure, and debug silicon prototypes through characterization until production readiness.
- Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and methodology improvements.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 1+ years of industry experience in analog/mixed-signal circuit design.
- Strong understanding of transistor-level design, simulation, and verification.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, or similar EDA tools.
- Exposure to high-speed analog building blocks and their verification.
- Experience with silicon debugging and characterization workflows.
- Nice-to-have: basic familiarity with FinFET technologies.
