Job Title

Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Join Qorvo's Power Management team to design analog and mixed-signal circuits for power management units (PMUs), battery management, and motor controllers used in consumer and industrial products. The role focuses on delivering high-performance, reliable analog IP and collaborating with layout, test development, reliability (QRA), and operations teams to ensure product release.

Experience Level

Professional / Mid-career. No specific years of experience stated.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Architect, design, and simulate precision analog circuits (bandgaps, oscillators, reference and bias circuits, voltage/current sources).
  • Design power converters and regulators (LDOs, buck/boost converters, charge pumps) and battery charging/battery management circuitry.
  • Develop low-power and high-efficiency analog solutions and ensure ESD/latch-up robustness and design-for-testability.
  • Perform mixed-signal simulations and work closely with layout engineers to meet performance and yield targets.
  • Collaborate with test development, reliability/QRA, and operations teams to support validation and product qualification.
  • Debug silicon issues and support characterization and bring-up activities.

Requirements

Core skills and qualifications; separated into must-have and nice-to-have.

  • Must-have: Strong foundation in electronic circuit design and analysis.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Vietnamese and English (reading and writing).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with Power ICs, high-voltage analog design, AC-DC controllers, fly-back regulators.
  • Experience with DC-DC controllers (LDO, buck, boost), charge pumps, battery management (linear and switching chargers).
  • Familiarity with A/D and D/A converters, SoC design or embedded systems, RTL/behavioral coding, and peripheral interfaces such as I2C and SPI.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
