Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Member of an R&D team developing high-speed analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for SerDes IP. Collaborate with analog and digital designers, layout engineers, and CAD/software teams to design, verify, and debug mixed-signal IP.

The team uses a full suite of IC design tools and custom in-house tools to support schematic entry, simulation, layout, and silicon bring-up.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Preferred: more than two years of mixed-signal circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

Expected day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Design and implement high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuits, especially SerDes.
• Perform circuit verification, SPICE simulation, and silicon debug.
• Collaborate with cross-functional analog and digital design teams throughout the design cycle.
• Work with layout engineers on floorplanning and layout improvement.
• Verify, debug, and support mixed-signal IP bring-up and validation.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• Strong understanding of circuit analysis, verification, and IC design technology.
• Experience with schematic entry tools, IC layout tools, and SPICE simulation.
• Mixed-signal design experience (examples: bandgap, regulators, comparators, OPAs, PLLs, oscillators, SerDes).
• Good English communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Silicon debug experience.
• Experience with Verilog-A.
• More than two years of professional mixed-signal circuit design experience.

Education Requirements
