Job Title
Analog Design Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Power Management team to design analog and mixed-signal circuits for power management units (PMUs) and related SoC products across consumer, IoT, automotive and industrial markets. Work spans circuit design, mixed-signal simulation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable, high-performance power solutions.
Experience Level
Professional (Mid-level). Years of experience: Not specified.
Responsibilities
Design and validate analog and mixed-signal blocks for PMUs and power-related SoCs; collaborate with layout, test, reliability and operations teams to release products.
- Design precision analog circuits (bandgap, oscillators, crystal drivers, voltage/current references)
- Design low/high power converters and regulators (LDO, buck, boost, charge pump, switching regulators)
- Design battery management circuits (linear and switching chargers)
- Design and verify data converters (A/D, D/A) and interface peripherals
- Implement ESD/latch-up immune designs and design-for-testability features
- Perform mixed-signal simulations and debugging; work closely with layout to meet performance targets
- Coordinate with test development, QRA and operations for product validation and release
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional traits; listed "nice-to-have" items indicate preferred experience.
-
Must-have: Strong foundation in electronic circuit design and analysis
- Good problem solving and debugging skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Vietnamese and English (read and write)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure
-
Nice-to-have: experience or knowledge in power ICs, high-voltage analog design, AC-DC controllers, flyback/primary-side regulation
- Experience with DC-DC controllers, LDOs, buck/boost converters and charge pumps
- Battery management (linear and switching chargers)
- A/D and D/A converter design experience
- SoC design or embedded system experience; RTL/behavioral coding experience
- Experience designing I2C, SPI or other peripheral interfaces
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
