Role Summary
Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuits for IP in advanced process nodes. Work on circuit design, floorplanning, extraction, simulation, testing, and optimization for power, performance, area, timing, and yield.

Mid-level β 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
Accountabilities for the role include circuit design, verification, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust analog IP.
- Design and develop analog circuits and mixed-signal IP in advanced process nodes.
- Create floorplans, perform circuit design, and extract chip parameters.
- Simulate analog behavior and develop behavioral models.
- Develop test plans, run verification, evaluate results, and correlate measurements to simulations.
- Optimize circuits for power, performance, area, timing, yield, and leakage.
- Collaborate with architecture and layout teams to ensure functionality, robustness, and electrical performance.
- Track, report, and resolve design and performance issues across teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and tools for immediate contribution; listed nice-to-have items are secondary.

Must-have: Proficiency in CMOS design and RC circuit fundamentals.

Must-have: Experience designing high-speed I/O circuits and modelling/simulating high-speed interconnects and channels.

Must-have: Experience with circuit simulation and design tools such as Spectre, Prime-Sim, HSPICE, Virtuoso, ADE, Custom Compiler or equivalent schematic/layout editors.

Must-have: Knowledge of DRC, LVS, and post-layout extraction tools.

Must-have: Ability to perform measurements and correlate them to simulation results.

Nice-to-have: Exposure to high-speed digital circuit design and analysis.

Nice-to-have: Familiarity with digitally assisted analog techniques.

Education Requirements
