Role Summary
Join the CCDS CAD team within Marvell Central Engineering to develop AMS and photonics/optics CAD automation for pre-silicon design environments. The role focuses on building and maintaining tools and flows that improve analog/mixed-signal and silicon photonics design productivity across the APAC region.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include developing and supporting CAD methodologies, automation, and verification flows for AMS and optics IC design.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain CAD methodologies, design flows, and automation tools for Analog/Mixed-Signal and Photonics/Optics IC design.
- Implement scripting solutions (Python, SKILL, TCL, etc.) to automate design tasks and integrate flows.
- Create and maintain PDK-related utilities, design environment setup, and verification/AI-assisted design flows.
- Collaborate with analog and optics design engineers to understand requirements and deliver CAD solutions.
- Debug and resolve issues in design environments, simulation setups, LVS/DRC/PEX, and reliability verification flows.
- Provide CAD support for APAC sites (Singapore, Vietnam, India, Taiwan) and coordinate with teams in US timezones when required.

- Must-have: User-level knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
- Must-have: Basic understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC design concepts and semiconductor device behavior.
- Good written and spoken English; solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn AMS and optics design domain concepts to scope and deliver automation.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of silicon photonics design, experience with SKILL/TCL, and familiarity with EDA verification flows (LVS, DRC, PEX).
