Algorithm Developers Tech Lead
Role Summary
Lead the research and development of advanced algorithms for optical metrology used in semiconductor manufacturing. Work within KLA's Optical Metrology Division in a multidisciplinary R&D environment at the Migdal Ha'emek site.
The role focuses on developing, validating and qualifying signal and image processing solutions for on-tool implementation and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include research, algorithm development, and collaboration across teams:
- Define challenges, evaluate feasibility, and develop algorithm concepts through to implementation and qualification testing.
- Implement and validate algorithms for optical metrology systems and on-tool deployment.
- Analyze complex data sets requiring multi-factor evaluation and select appropriate methods and techniques.
- Collaborate with senior internal and external personnel and contribute to cross-disciplinary teams.
- Work with minimal day-to-day supervision and take responsibility for technical direction of assignments.
Requirements
Key skills and experience required or preferred.
- Must-have: Proven experience in signal or image processing.
- Must-have: Experience developing and implementing algorithms using Matlab or Python.
- Preferred: Experience with optical systems or microscopy.
- Preferred: Experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to assume a leadership role in the future.
Education Requirements
Ph.D. in Engineering or Physics, or an M.Sc. in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
