AI Systems and Solutions Engineering Manager

Role Summary

Manage a team responsible for the design and delivery of integrated hardware and software systems for AI products, with emphasis on AI GPU platforms, system solutions, and deep learning enablement. Drive product strategy, roadmap coherence, and cross-functional alignment across architecture, silicon, systems, manufacturing, and go-to-market teams.

Responsibilities

Lead product management and strategy for multi-generation AI GPU platforms and system solutions, ensuring decisions reflect customer needs and long-term platform goals.

  • Define and own hardware product strategy and multi-generation roadmap for AI GPU platforms and systems.
  • Establish product principles, priorities, and tradeoff frameworks to guide silicon, system, power/thermal, and manufacturing decisions.
  • Ensure roadmap coherence across architecture, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and lifecycle planning.
  • Build, lead, and mentor the Hardware Product Management team; set expectations for technical rigor and execution discipline.
  • Collect and translate strategic customer and partner insights into actionable product requirements and platform priorities.
  • Represent the hardware roadmap and strategy in customer and partner engagements and senior leadership forums.
  • Serve as escalation point for product tradeoffs involving performance, power, cost, yield, schedule, and manufacturability.
  • Drive alignment between hardware decisions and software enablement, and integrate new technologies into product development.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership skills; preferred skills listed separately.

  • 12+ years of experience in semiconductor, systems, or platform-level product development.
  • Proven experience leading hardware product management teams for complex silicon platforms across multiple product cycles.
  • Deep technical fluency in GPU architecture, semiconductor design, manufacturing, validation, and system integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align VP/SVP-level stakeholders across engineering, architecture, systems, and go-to-market organizations.
  • Track record of engaging strategic customers and partners to shape product direction and long-term platform strategy.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to synthesize complexity and frame decisions for senior leadership.
  • Experience mentoring product management talent and raising product management standards.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with AI workloads, deep learning software frameworks, simulation/sim2real, autonomous systems, or robotics.

Education Requirements

MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is required; PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
