AI Internship (Software, Electrical, Industrial or Computer Engineering)
Join the Analog Competency Center to develop and prototype a machine learning and computer-vision system that helps debug and categorize integrated circuit (IC) field failures. The role focuses on turning failure reports and images into structured data and models that support root-cause analysis.
Entry-level internship targeted at final-year students (Master's). Full-time, 6-month assignment suitable as a thesis/graduation project.
The intern will work on data-driven methods and prototypes to analyze IC field failures. Typical tasks include:
Key practical skills and criteria for candidates.
Targeted at final-year Master of Science students in Software, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering (Master's level / last year of engineering school). Candidates must be registered as students for the entire internship. Relevant academic background: strong foundations in machine learning, computer vision, neural networks, generative AI, and natural language processing. Familiarity with CMOS circuits is a plus. The assignment may also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.
