Job Title

AI Engineer – Technical Leader (Agentic AI & FPGA Systems)

Role Summary

Senior technical leader responsible for defining architecture and driving delivery of agentic AI systems optimized for FPGA/ASIC platforms. The role sits at the intersection of LLMs, agentic/autonomous systems, RAG, and hardware-aware AI system design.

Work includes system architecture, model optimization for hardware, orchestration of multi-agent workflows, and close collaboration with hardware and EDA teams to deploy low-latency, FPGA-accelerated AI solutions.

Experience Level

Senior — technical leader / senior engineering level. Suitable for candidates with substantial experience leading large-scale AI system architecture and deployment (senior-level expectations).

Responsibilities

Lead technical strategy, system design, and hands-on delivery of AI systems that integrate software intelligence with hardware acceleration.

  • Architect end-to-end agentic AI systems (data → reasoning → action) and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
  • Design and implement enterprise-grade RAG pipelines and knowledge integration workflows.
  • Lead AI model optimization and deployment on FPGA, including quantization, graph compilation, operator fusion, and model partitioning.
  • Develop workflows to map models (PyTorch / Hugging Face) to FPGA targets and enable low-latency inference pipelines.
  • Co-design software and hardware: align model architecture with FPGA constraints (DSP, BRAM, interconnect) and integrate with EDA flows.
  • Build internal platforms and reusable components (agent orchestration, memory management, tooling, retrieval/indexing).
  • Lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and guide cross-functional teams on AI + semiconductor initiatives.

Requirements

Core technical skills and experience required to perform the role; listed as must-have and preferred.

  • Must-have: Strong experience with LLMs, agentic AI or RAG systems and large-scale AI system architecture and deployment.
  • Must-have: Proficient programming skills in Python and C++; experience with modern AI frameworks and production/distributed AI systems.
  • Must-have: System-level thinking across software, infrastructure, and hardware acceleration targets.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience with FPGA, ASIC, or other hardware acceleration platforms and FPGA development flows (synthesis, HLS, runtime).
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience in AI model optimization for hardware (quantization, compilation, deployment) and exposure to EDA tools and semiconductor workflows.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: Background in heterogeneous compute systems (CPU/GPU/FPGA) and experience mapping LLM/CV models to hardware.

Education Requirements

Not specified.
