Role Summary

Develop AI-enabled automation and tooling to accelerate validation and performance optimization of Renesas power solutions for datacenter-class CPUs/GPUs. Improve engineering productivity by integrating AI workflows into hardware validation and system performance tuning.

Experience Level

Senior — requires extensive experience; the posting specifies 15+ years in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on building automated and AI-assisted tools and infrastructure to shorten development and validation cycles.

• Develop automated tuning tools for VR rails in high-power CPUs/GPUs using Renesas power solutions.
• Design and integrate AI-based productivity tools to shorten development and automate validation workflows.
• Analyze failure signatures with machine learning to accelerate debug and identify root causes.
• Build automated infrastructure for system performance optimization.
• Support cross-functional HW, firmware, and software teams during execution with AI tool flows.
• Write technical collateral and usage documentation for tools and flows.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and domain experience.

• 15+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Deep understanding of power architecture and multiphase high-power DC-DC power solutions.
• Experience automating hardware validation to improve efficiency.
• Experience developing AI-assisted tools and applying ML to engineering problems.
• Experience working with embedded SoCs and collaborating across HW/FW/SW teams.
• Excellent technical and executive communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree in engineering preferred. (Engineering discipline implied; e.g., electrical, computer engineering, or a related technical field.)
