YT-Asia YE DRAM Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) Engineer
Role Summary
The PFA Engineer will perform physical failure analysis to support DRAM and HBM device development from initial development through high-volume manufacturing. The role works with Integration, Process, and DRAM engineering teams to identify failure mechanisms and provide actionable feedback to improve device characteristics and yield.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on identifying failure causes, producing high-quality analysis data, and driving improvements to sample preparation and analysis methods.
- Acquire accurate imaging and elemental analysis data using TEM, FIB, and SEM to determine failure causes.
- Understand device layout and structure and target failure locations to obtain reliable data.
- Improve sample preparation methods and refine observation/analysis conditions to raise technique quality and consistency.
- Communicate analysis results and expected failure modes with YE engineers and integration teams.
- Deliver high-quality analysis reports to support early yield improvement.
- Collaborate on maintenance and upkeep of analysis equipment.
- Commit to performing PFA duties at F15 YT-Asia YE PFA on a long-term basis.
