Working Student (Werkstudent) - Bipolar Transistors
Role Summary
Support the bipolar transistor team by automating data workflows, performing electrical measurements at wafer and product level, and delivering data-driven evaluations of experiments and competitor products. The role reports to the engineering/measurement team in Hamburg and focuses on hands-on testing, database maintenance, and result presentation.
Experience Level
Entry-level — working student role for currently enrolled students. Part-time (temporary contract), maximum 18 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include laboratory measurements, data management, analysis and reporting.
- Create, automate and maintain measurement and results databases.
- Perform electrical measurements on bipolar transistors at wafer level and on finished products.
- Evaluate experiments and trials; perform data analysis and present findings.
- Investigate and compare competitor products.
Requirements
Core skills and attributes for successful performance.
- Fluent German, written and spoken.
- Analytical thinking and strong general technical understanding.
- Experience or interest in electrical measurement techniques and semiconductor technology.
- Basic programming or scripting for automation (preferred: Python, Java).
- Data analysis skills; familiarity with SPICE and hardware automation is an advantage.
Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical field (student status required).
