Role Summary

Join the Validation Innovation Team within the System, Application, and Validation Organization (SSC ACE) to support validation automation using Generative AI and Machine Learning. The role focuses on automating test measurements, data processing, report generation, and applying LLMs and agent techniques to validation workflows.

This is a part-time working-student position based in Hamburg with a hybrid work option.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Working student. Suitable for current university students; no specific years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Support automation of test measurements, data collection, processing, and report generation.
• Develop GenAI-based solutions for automated creation of data tables, diagrams, and reports.
• Design and implement a maintenance agent for a PostgreSQL database.
• Contribute to automated test-plan generation using Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent frameworks.
• Implement and validate data-processing pipelines and visualizations used in validation reports.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and improving validation automation workflows.
• Handle tasks that may be in scope of security certifications; work reliably on security-related assignments when required.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience or familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch) and relevant tooling such as LangChain.
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent concepts.
• Solid SQL skills and ability to write efficient queries.
• Programming experience in Python and/or C.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging and code-review skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-cultural teams; fluent in English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience developing or maintaining PostgreSQL agents or database maintenance tools.
• Experience applying GenAI to automated report generation, diagrams, and data summarization.
• Familiarity with MCP tools and production-grade agent frameworks.

Education Requirements

Currently enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (working-student status expected).
