WLA Yield Defect Metrology Engineer - Shift 5
Responsible for analyzing manufacturing, process, and defect data to identify yield limiters and drive corrective actions across advanced process and packaging technologies. Works with factory teams, equipment and product engineers to perform fault isolation, develop measurement recipes, and implement process improvements that increase manufacturability and product quality.
Role is part of Yield Development within Intel Foundry; requires on-site presence and operates on a modified Shift 5 (Sun–Wed).
Mid-level (Experienced hire). Typical experience guidance: Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years relevant metrology experience, or Master's degree plus 1+ year relevant metrology experience (see Education Requirements for details).
Primary responsibilities include data-driven yield improvement, defect analysis, and cross-functional execution.

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or another STEM-related field plus 2+ years of relevant metrology experience; OR Master's degree in the listed fields plus 1+ year of relevant metrology experience.
