Wafer Probe Integration Engineer

Role Summary

Deploy and qualify wafer probers, testers, and probe cards in manufacturing and drive equipment and process capability improvements across global sites. Collaborate with suppliers, test/process engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to define methods, specifications, and metrics. Position requires international travel.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include equipment evaluation, process development, cross-site standardization, and data-driven quality improvement.

• Evaluate and deploy wafer probers, testers, and probe cards; validate performance and capability.
• Collaborate with global teams to establish and implement best-known methods for wafer probe.
• Engage suppliers and vendors to resolve quality and performance issues.
• Define and generate equipment specifications for safety and capability in manufacturing environments.
• Establish manufacturing metrics and perform statistical analysis to ensure process quality.
• Develop and deploy new methods to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Prepare and present findings to manufacturing teams and engineering management.
• Coordinate and chair meetings across global manufacturing sites.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience. Education expectations are listed separately below.

• Fundamentals of mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Statistics, data analysis, and design of experiments (DOE).
• Experience with 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes and semiconductor test operations.
• Program management experience.

Education Requirements

Employer will accept a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. No other degrees, certifications, or equivalent-experience language is specified in the posting.
