Role Summary
The Verification Engineer will join a skilled team focused on SoC ARM Power architecture and verification. This team is responsible for developing sophisticated subsystems across various markets including Enterprise and Automotive.
Experience Level
Mid-career, typically requiring 3 - 4 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Writing test plans and defining test methodologies.
- Completing functional verification to the required quality levels and schedules.
- Owning a subsystem, performing functional, power, and GLS verification.
- Collaborating with engineers from various domains including architecture, verification, and silicon validation.
Requirements
Must-have skills include:
- 3 - 4 years experience in SV/UVM verification environments.
- Proficient with on-chip AMBA protocols.
- Knowledge of assembly language (preferably ARM), C/C++, and hardware verification languages.
- Experience with verification methodologies like UVM/OVM.
- Working experience in ARM M class CPU processors.
- Familiarity with verification tools such as Questa, VCS, and Jasper Gold.
Nice-to-have skills include:
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience in Client/IOT SoC design verification.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
