Role Summary

Work on verification of ARM architecture-based CPU subsystems and SoCs used for AI/accelerated computing. The role sits on a CPU/SoC verification team collaborating with design and architecture engineers to develop verification plans, build testbenches, and debug complex RTL and system-level issues.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires at least 3+ years of CPU verification experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include developing verification environments and executing verification plans for CPU subsystems and SoCs.

• Verify ARM architecture-based CPU subsystems and SoCs according to verification plans.
• Design, implement, and extend testbench components and verification infrastructure.
• Build and enhance UVM/SystemVerilog/C-based verification environments.
• Collaborate with architecture and design teams to verify architectural and microarchitectural features.
• Debug complex issues across RTL, interconnect, coherency, memory subsystems, and system-level scenarios.
• Analyze and improve verification strategies; incorporate AI-accelerated workflows to increase efficiency.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in CPU verification.
• Proven expertise in ARM architecture and CPU unit/sub-system/SoC verification.
• Strong understanding of verification methodologies and tools.
• Experience building and using UVM/SystemVerilog and C in verification environments.
• Ability to debug RTL, interconnect, coherency, and memory-subsystem issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication/teamwork.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with multi-core CPU or large-scale SoC verification.
• Experience applying AI tools to boost verification productivity.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
