Validation Engineer Intern

Role Summary

Fall 2026 paid internship focused on high-speed memory validation and data analysis. The intern will develop Python-based tools to consolidate, analyze, and report validation data produced by ATE (automated test equipment) for memory testing.

This position is 100% onsite in Duluth, GA and is intended for local candidates. Internship dates: September 14 – December 18, 2026.

Experience Level

Internship / Entry-level. Candidates must be currently enrolled full-time in a university program and must not have graduated before January 2027.

Responsibilities

Contribute to validation data pipelines, metric development, and reporting under the guidance of the validation team.

  • Develop Python scripts to extract critical information from ATE validation logs for high-speed memory tests.
  • Consolidate, clean, and transform large validation datasets for analysis.
  • Define and implement KPIs to track memory stability across PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) corners.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, failures, and margin conditions; produce clear reports and visualizations.
  • Automate routine data-processing and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborate with test engineers and validation team members; document methods and findings.

Requirements

Core technical skills required and beneficial background.

  • Must-have: Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation, including experience with Pandas and NumPy.
  • Must-have: Ability to work 100% onsite in Duluth, GA; local candidates only.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with DDR4/5 or LPDDR4/5 memory interfaces and concepts such as training, leveling, and signal margins.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience working with ATE data formats, test equipment logs, or similar test-data sources.
  • Nice-to-have: Basic statistics or data-analysis experience and visualization skills.

Education Requirements

Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's or Master's program (rising senior level) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Candidates must not have graduated before January 2027.
