Role Summary

Join the IoT RF Validation team to validate RF and DSP design implementations for low-power wireless SoCs. The role focuses on validating PHY and MAC layer IPs through silicon bring-up, lab measurements, and cross-functional debugging to ensure product performance and time-to-market.

Work is performed at the Budapest office (Graphisoft Park).

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include validating wireless IP on silicon, developing and maintaining test code, and communicating results to cross-functional teams.

• Develop and validate Zigbee, BLE, Wi-SUN, Z-Wave, M-Bus and proprietary PHY configurations for RF SoCs.
• Create, modify, and maintain tests within the test software framework; perform unit and regression testing.
• Review and update test code and test architectures; architect or modify test system frameworks.
• Perform lab measurements to validate transceiver performance and provide feedback to design, firmware, and product test teams.
• Prepare and present validation reports; work with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Experience using Python or other high-level modeling language/tool for designing and evaluating RF/communication systems and algorithms.
• Basic DSP knowledge (e.g., up/down sampling, FIR filtering).
• Experience developing and using automated test systems for hardware testing and/or software QA.
• Experience with revision control and code management systems (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with continuous integration practices.
• Experience creating test strategies and test plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and produce high output.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of analog signal fundamentals and RF signal chains (LNAs, mixers, PAs, A/D, D/A).
• Basic knowledge of digital modulation formats (MSK/FSK, OQPSK, OOK/ASK).
• Proficiency with RF lab instruments (signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, oscilloscope, DMM, power supply).
• Familiarity with wireless standards such as Bluetooth Low Energy, 802.15.4, and 802.11.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
