Role Summary
Engineer responsible for designing, developing and testing automation solutions for ASIC silicon validation. Work with validation test teams to automate test flows across board farms and handlers, and ensure reliable execution across process, voltage and temperature corners.
Experience Level
Entry-level. Position requires approximately two (2) years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include implementing and maintaining automated validation infrastructure and ensuring reliable test execution.
- Design, develop and deploy automation solutions for ASIC silicon validation across PVT corners.
- Automate and maintain SLT handlers to ensure smooth execution and expected yield of test results.
- Integrate automation systems with existing validation test infrastructure and test content.
- Collaborate with validation test engineers to collect and automate test flows for board farms and handlers.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of automated test flows to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collect, analyze and monitor data from board farms and handlers to identify trends and troubleshoot issues.
- Travel up to ~5% per year within the US and potentially to India, as needed.
Requirements
Must-have technical experience and skills.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in system validation and functional testing.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and debugging experience for validation systems.
- Experience with System on Chip (SoC) validation or verification.
- Experience developing automation for silicon validation, including handler/board-farm automation.
- Experience collecting and analyzing test data to monitor performance and diagnose issues.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or foreign equivalent; related technical fields accepted.
