Role Summary
Develop and execute UVM-based verification plans and testbenches to validate FPGA and ASIC digital designs for 4G/5G products. Work with design and cross-functional teams to find, diagnose, and close functional and performance defects.
Experience Level
Senior — requires approximately 10 years of experience in UVM-based verification of FPGA/ASIC systems.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on creating verification environments, executing tests, debugging failures, and documenting results.
- Develop and implement UVM verification plans and test strategies for FPGA/ASIC designs.
- Create SystemVerilog testbenches, test cases, and automation frameworks.
- Perform functional, system-level, and regression testing.
- Analyze simulation results, debug failures, and drive defect resolution with design teams.
- Track coverage and verification progress; produce test reports and defect documentation.
- Optimize verification processes and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements

-
Must have: Strong SystemVerilog and UVM experience for verification of FPGA systems.
-
Must have: Hands-on experience with simulation tools (e.g. ModelSim, QuestaSim).
-
Must have: Scripting for automation (Python or Perl).
-
Must have: Experience with C/C++ and implementing bit-accurate models; DSP debugging experience.
-
Must have: Familiarity with coverage metrics, debugging tools, and formal verification techniques.
-
Must have: Knowledge of O-RAN architecture and protocols for 4G/5G networks.
-
Nice to have: Verification experience of communication protocols and hardware/software co-verification techniques.
-
Nice to have: FPGA development experience and knowledge of VHDL/Verilog.
