Role Summary
Develop and deploy CAD tools and Design-for-Test (DFT) methodologies in NVIDIA's RDSS program in Taiwan. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve testability, tool reliability, and execution of ASIC flows.
Experience Level
Internship / Entry-level. Position is an RDSS intern role; no specific years of experience required.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement and deploy CAD tools and automation for ASIC flows.
- Develop and optimize DFT strategies to ensure manufacturability and test coverage.
- Analyze and debug complex CAD and DFT issues; determine root causes and implement fixes.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to other engineering teams.
- Continuously refine tools and methodologies to improve productivity and quality.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient programming in Python, TCL, or Perl.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Practical focus on implementing robust engineering solutions.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with Verilog.
- Understanding of the VLSI design flow and Design-for-Test concepts.
- Experience in CAD software development.
- Strong English communication skills.
Education Requirements
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
