Collaborate with integration, validation, package/PCB, and post-silicon teams as well as external IP vendors and customers to ensure electrical, logical, and physical quality of SerDes IP integrations.

Experience Level

Senior — lead-level engineering role. No specific years of experience specified.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and hands-on support throughout IP evaluation, integration, and post-silicon validation.

  • Act as AMD technical owner for third-party SerDes IP, providing pre-silicon and post-silicon leadership and support.
  • Work with external IP vendors to support design transfer, release of design views and collateral, and IP integration across products.
  • Partner with integration teams to ensure electrical, logical, and physical quality during integration.
  • Support IC package and PCB teams with signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analyses and evaluations.
  • Perform technical evaluations of new IP for potential licensing and product suitability.
