Role Summary

Member of the Micron DRAM Test Engineering team based in Sanand, Gujarat, responsible for developing and maintaining test programs for DRAM products. The role focuses on first-silicon validation, test-program optimization, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve yield and product quality.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize test programs and processes for DRAM products. Key responsibilities include:

• Design test programs for first-silicon validation and new product/technology startups.
• Develop and maintain production test programs to meet customer specifications and characterize device performance.
• Optimize test methods to reduce test time and manufacturing cost.
• Automate test processes by writing scripts and applying AI to improve efficiency.
• Increase test coverage to ensure outgoing product quality and reduce customer returns.
• Collaborate with product, equipment, capacity, and manufacturing teams to improve yield and meet output goals.
• Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure stability and effectiveness of test processes.

Requirements

Core skills and attributes required or preferred for the role.

• Good programming skills; scripting and automation experience preferred.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Nice-to-have: C/C++ knowledge, familiarity with Unix/Linux environments, and understanding of semiconductor device physics.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
