Job Title

Test Program Development Engineer

Role Summary

Develop and maintain functional test programs and strategies for NAND Flash semiconductor products. Work with engineering, process, and production teams to prepare test infrastructure for new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing.

Focus areas include test program development, test-time reduction, yield and reliability improvement, and applying AI-enabled tools and digital solutions to accelerate problem solving and decision-making.

Experience Level

Entry-level. Fresh graduates are welcome; suitable for candidates with approximately 0–3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The role concentrates on test program creation, production release, and cross-functional support to ensure test readiness and optimize manufacturing test flow.

  • Develop and maintain package functional test strategies and programs for NAND Flash products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, process, and production teams to ensure test infrastructure and systems are ready for NPI and high-volume manufacturing.
  • Optimize test conditions and implement redundancy analysis and data-analysis approaches to improve yield, reliability, and quality.
  • Design and deploy test-time reduction methodologies and cost-effective production test flow optimizations.
  • Release validated test programs to production in a timely manner and support smooth manufacturing operations.
  • Optimize test equipment hardware and support test system infrastructure.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and digital solutions to improve diagnostics and decision-making.

Requirements

Core skills and attributes required or preferred for success in the role.

  • Must-have: Solid analytical problem-solving skills and strong verbal and written communication.
  • Must-have: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production operations.
  • Nice-to-have: Programming skills (C, C++, Python) and familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Nice-to-have: Understanding of semiconductor device physics.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field was requested in the source posting.
